Guess the Player questions

How does Guess the Basketball Player work?

The board gives you 15 attempts on one NBA player. It starts you with the era, one fact and a free example, then opens up as you miss: the city at 4, another exact fact at 7, and an escape hatch to reveal the answer. Each submitted name adds a comparison row — deep green for exact, green for close, gold for similar.

What do the feedback clues mean?

Position, season and city place whoever you guessed. From there the board puts PTS, REB, AST, FG%, FT% and G side by side with the mystery player's real signature season. A deep green cell is an exact match, green is close, gold is in the neighbourhood, and the arrow points toward the real number.

Who can the answer be in Guess the Basketball Player?

Recognisable NBA players and all-time names, from the current league back through the older eras. The lane is curated, so the answer is somebody you have heard of rather than a ten-game career.

When does the daily player reset?

The board turns over at midnight Eastern and everyone gets the same player, so a shared grid actually means something when you post it.

What is shown on each player card?

A real signature season — position, city and years, and that season's own scoring, rebounding and playmaking lines, with league leads and honours where they exist. No player ratings anywhere.
