Questions people actually ask

Answered straight

Play the whole ride — the offers, the farewell, what comes after. The full golf career simulator runs every season against the real record book, so you finally see how your career actually reads.

What is the golf career simulator?

A full tour career in the browser, and the loneliest game on this site — no draft, no club, no teammates to carry a bad year. You come out of the amateur game, get through Q-school, and then it is you and the leaderboard for thirty seasons.

What is Q-school?

The way in. Golf has no draft, so nobody picks you — you earn a tour card or you do not, and how well you come through decides which events you are even eligible for in the early years. It is the chapter that replaces the draft, and it is the first place a career can quietly end.

How is a season scored?

Wins, top tens and majors. The bench is the real single-season mark: 18 wins, 30 top tens and three professional majors in one year. Clearing any of those once is a career highlight. Clearing them the way the record holder did is essentially not going to happen to you.

Why does this career run so much longer?

Because golf careers do. You start around 20 and the chapters run to 41, then there is a senior tour instead of a straight retirement, and the captaincy comes at 53. Every other sport on this site is finished by the time a golfer reaches the Major years.

Why is there no role to choose?

There is only one job. Every other career here forks — guard or wing, batter or bowler — but a tour player is a tour player, so the game puts the branching into the schedule and the majors instead. What varies is which weeks you peak.

What are the Major years?

The chapter around 30, when the four that matter are genuinely winnable and the rest of the career gets judged on what you do with them. A career with wins and no majors reads very differently from one with a single major and nothing else.

What is the captaincy at the end?

The chapter after the playing is done. You are not competing any more — you are picking a side and leading it — so it cannot add a title to your own record. It can still lift how the career reads at the finish, and it never lowers it.

Is this a golf career game?

Career game, career simulator, either name. It is the browser version: your decisions, real record-book benchmarks, and a grade at the end.

Can I send a career to someone?

Yes. They get their own amateur start and their own Q-school, with your finished card attached as the number they are chasing.

Free to play?

Completely — browser only, no account, nothing to download, and your career is held in the URL so it survives closing the tab.
